Enterprise Architecture Using TOGAF® 9

This is Metaplexity’s flagship 4-day TOGAF 9 course. Our course was the first Accredited TOGAF Training Course in 2009 and re-accredited in 2016.  This course is designed to effectively prepare participants for full TOGAF 9 certification by The Open Group. Version 3.3 employs a streamlined format that covers the required learning content for TOGAF 9 Certification at both Level 1 and Level 2. In addition, the course provides practical insights and examples of how to successfully apply the framework to meet organization’s needs.

Enterprise Architecture Using TOGAF® 9: Foundation Level

This 2-day course is designed for individuals who will be involved enterprise architecture projects, but not necessarily in leadership or architecture practitioner roles. In this course, participants learn fundamental enterprise architecture concepts and the core TOGAF architecture development method. The course prepares participants for The Open Group Level 1 Certification exam.  Passing that exam is how you achieve TOGAF 9 certification at the “Foundation” level.

We offer other courses that will be useful for an organization that is building an Enterprise Architecture program.  These courses custom designed by Metaplexity. These courses are not accredited by The Open Group.  There is no examination requirement for these courses.

Enterprise Architecture using TOGAF® An Executive Perspective

This is a custom designed seminar that can used to inform and educate senior business leaders on the business value of Enterprise Architecture. The course is offered on demand and is tailored to the specific needs of the organization. The audience may include executive sponsors of the architecture, business unit leaders, IT managers, Program/Project Managers and other stakeholders.

This executive seminar may be structured as a two hour to a full day seminar.

Architecting the Agile Enterprise

There are several significant trends that are shaping the modern enterprise.  As organizations struggle to survive and thrive in an increasingly competitive environment, they are leveraging several emerging methods and techniques.

This course provides a comprehensive review of program and project management tools and techniques that are needed in an architecture environment.

It applies systems thinking to program and project management. Course participants will gain the foundation for developing a consistent and coordinated approach to governance that integrates people, process, and technology.

The course examines TOGAF concepts and introduces additional areas that are essential to successful enterprise architecture. The course has a set of core modules and optional modules that can be used to tailor the course to meet your organization’s needs.

Foundations of Information Risk Management NEW!

This course provides an introduction to Information Risk Analysis based on the Open Group’s Open FAIR Standard. This standard, based on the Open Risk Analysis and Open Risk Taxonomy standards, provides a method for determining vulnerabilities to loss events in an organization context.
